SUMMER SHOPPING | Essential holiday pieces..

Glasses - Zaful | T-shirt - ZARA | Shorts - River Island | Bag - Primark | Sandals - Missguided

I've recently been doing my holiday shopping as i'm going on holiday in just under 3 weeks now.. I'm so excited as my last holiday was in November so i'm looking forward to a change of scenery! I'm someone who prefers to travel in the beginning of the year or the end of the year as i love spending summer in Scotland - i'm not the best with heat - so a summer holiday doesn't really appeal to me to be honest. I love getting away for a bit of winter sun or jetting off on a city break in the beginning of the year for a little change.

I picked up these lovely denim shorts from River Island. I was really looking for them in a size 10 or 12 as i prefer the oversized look in denim shorts but they only had the 8. I still really like them as i love the colour and the distressed look but i'm ultimately on the hunt for a nice pair of oversized shorts to wear with a belt and crop top.

This sheer oversized orange t-shirt from ZARA really stood out to me, i love the embroidery and love how its an oversized but statement piece to throw on over a bikini or with a pair of shorts like i did if you're venturing out for the day. I also think this would look fab dressed up with the pair of skinny jeans and a bralet underneath.

Thanks for reading, who else have started their holiday shopping already?

Give thanks,
Much love,

SHEIN COLLABORATION | The lace up trousers..

Sunglasses - New Look | T-shirt - River Island | Jacket - Missguided | Trousers - c/o Shein | Shoes - River Island

I've been on the hunt for a pair of lace up trousers for a while now - i'd been looking for a decent pair that weren't too expensive as i knew it would be something i'd probably only wear a couple of times on a night out. I saw a pair in Topshop that i really liked but they were almost 50 quid i'm sure and to be honest, they weren't the comfiest - they were quite stiff and very tight around my middle but fine for my legs (the worst) so i couldn't really justify paying all that money for something i didn't feel that comfortable in.

Shein approached me again asking if they could send me some items - obviously i agreed as the last time i collaborated with them the service couldn't of been better and i loved the jumper i received (you can see the full post HERE). I decided to go for these trousers but was a bit unsure of the sizing as they tend to run a bit small so i decided to go for the medium. I can honestly say i would of preferred the small as these are super stretchy and i would of liked the extra tight fit on my legs knowing that they're not gonna move. These ones do fit fine though but just a heads up to just stick with your size if you're interested in getting these. Postage took about a week to come which is great and the quality of the trousers is amazing too. For just over £25 you can't really go wrong?

Thanks for stopping by - i've started to work on my summer wardrobe so be sure to check back for some spring/summer ideas over the next month or so.

Give thanks,
Much love,

APRICOT | How to dress for the transition into spring..

Hat - c/o Apricot | Sunglasses - Mango | Top - c/o Apricot | Jeans - Mango | Sandals - River Island | Bag - c/o Apricot | Belt - Primark | Necklace - River Island

The guys over at Apricot kindly let me choose some pieces from their new in 2017 range. I had in mind to get a top and a few accessories as i wanted to style them together. It's been absolutely beautiful weather here recently so when i was browsing, spring/summer was all i had in mind!

I had a black fedora hat a couple of years ago - if you've been a long time follower of my blog you'll remember i wore it with just about every outfit! But i lost it and i've been looking for a nice similar hat since - preferably in beige as i think it's more feminine and can add abit of colour to a simple outfit. I did see a few in River Island last year but none of them really fit properly. I saw this one on Apricot and added it to the list straight away. When it arrived i was a bit skeptical as to whether it would fit properly but it did and the quality is amazing too. Best thing is - you can now get it for only £8 in the sale HERE!

I love a backpack so when i saw this one i knew i'd get a lot of wear out of it. I really like the quilted material as personally i think it makes it look really expensive and the gold hardware adds to that too - but the best thing about this back is that it has a zip compartment on the inner side of the bag - you know the bit that rests against your back - you can see it HERE. I think it's great for your cash or phone especially if you're travelling and like to know your valuables are safe.

I went for the top as i knew the colour would look great with the hat. I'm a massive fan of anything khaki to be honest and this top is a lightweight crepe material which is great for the warmer weather.

I have linked all exact items above to shop - some items i'm wearing are out of stock or older season like the sandals so i'll try find similar alternatives for you to shop below.

Thanks for stopping by - be sure to check out Apricots new range for the S/S 17.

BLUE VANILLA | The oversized bomber jacket..

Hat - Zalando | Jacket - c/o Blue Vanilla | T-shirt - Mango | Jeans - Mango | Boots - ASOS | Bag - c/o Apricot

Blue Vanilla kindly sent me this oversized bomber jacket that are very on trend at the moment. These jackets are great as we are now making the move out of winter and the sun finally starts to make an appearance - great to throw on over a slogan or basic tee with a pair of jeans. I paired mine with my favourite boots but the outfit would also look great with a pair of trainers. The jacket is warm but quite light and quality is fantastic and also very similar to the ones i've seen in Topshop.

You can also get 25% off Blue Vanilla with the code APRIL25 - for a limited time only.

Got on my favourite black skinnies EVER. These are a little pricey but honestly they are the best black jeans i've ever owned, they fit perfectly and come up quite high waisted too so they're extremely flattering.

Thanks for stopping by - i've got some more goodies to show you next week :)

Much love,
